67-Year-Old NFL Legend Bill Cowher Shocks Fans by Jumping Through a Table Live on TV

NFL Hall of Famer Bill Cowher stunned fans on Sunday when the 67-year-old former coach jumped through a table during CBS’ ‘NFL Today’ pregame show.

The network was in Buffalo – where jumping through tables has become a tradition among the ‘Bills Mafia’ – ahead of the Bills’ massive clash against the Chiefs.

And Cowher earned himself a huge ovation when he sent himself airborne and through a plastic folding table before kickoff.

The Super Bowl-winning coach was helped to his feet by his much younger CBS colleagues Nate Burleson (43 years old), Matt Ryan (39) and J.J. Watt (35), who also sent themselves through folding tables.

Cowher appeared to be unharmed afterwards as he lifted his arms triumphantly from the ground.

The CBS broadcast even displayed a hilarious graphic which compared Cowher’s ‘career tables smashed’ to the rest of the ‘NFL Today’ crew.

However, some fans online questioned the integrity of the tables Cowher and his colleagues jumped through, with several claiming they were ‘pre-broken.’

‘Those tables were so flimsy I don’t know if [they could have held a large pizza,’ one said on X.

‘Well, all those tables were sagging in the middle when they were placed on the ground,’ another claimed.

Cowher spent 15 seasons as the Steelers’ head coach from 1992 to 2006.

He won his lone Super Bowl as a coach during the 2005 season.

Cowher also spent four seasons as a linebacker with stops in Philadelphia and Cleveland.

He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame as part of Canton’s 2020 class.
