Travis Kelce praised his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, for concluding her almost two-year-long Eras Tour — even though he couldn’t see her perform one last time.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end kicked off Wednesday’s “New Heights” episode by acknowledging the singer’s hard work after wrapping up her last show in Vancouver, Canada on Sunday.
“Shout out to Tay, the unbelievable Eras Tour has finally come to an end!” he told his older brother, Jason, who then asked how long the concert series had been.
“It was almost two years, [it started] the March of the year we played the Super Bowl,” he said, referencing the 2023 Super Bowl where the Chiefs beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38 – 35.
The two then discussed the “absolutely insane” feat of Swift playing 149 shows across five continents in just a year and a half.
“Shoutout to Tay!” Jason, 37, repeated as Travis applauded “everyone that was a part of that show.”
“Obviously it’s her show, it’s her music, her tour and everything but that was a full production,” the younger Kelce added.
“That was the best tour in the world because of a lot of people, but most because of Taylor.”
Travis, 35, did not go to Swift’s concerts over the weekend as the Chiefs played against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
On Sunday, the “Lover” singer closed her record-breaking chapter, giving her fans a shout-out for their role in its success.
“I want to thank every single one of you for being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my entire life to date — my beloved Eras Tour,” the singer, 34, said before closing out the concert with “Karma,” per an X video.
In another clip, Swift gushed about the “adventures” she’s had “touring the entire world.”
“It has been the most exciting, powerful, electrifying, intense, most challenging thing I’ve ever done in my entire life,” she said ahead of her “Lover” performance.
The Grammy winner added, “We’ve gotten to perform for over 10 million people on this tour.”
The New York Times reported Monday that the Eras Tour raked in $2,077,618,725 in ticket sales, which is “double the gross ticket sales of any other concert tour in history.”
Swift’s Eras Tour kicked off in March 2023 and catapulted her into billionaire status by October of that year.
Per Forbes, Swift became the richest female musician worth $1.6 billion, with most of her profits coming from her live shows. She also released a concert movie, published a tour book and released her 11th studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department.”
Swift wrote via Instagram last month that approaching the end of the concert series had left her “emotions … pretty heightened.”
The songwriter admitted, “It’s gotten extremely real for us. Our next city will be the last one of The Eras Tour, and the closing of the most extraordinary chapter of my life so far.”
Although neither Travis nor his family made it to Swift’s last shows in Vancouver, they did show her support through the tour by going to multiple concerts around the world.
Travis attended her show a total of 14 times with the first time being in the summer of 2023 when he tried to give her his number and failed.
However, after they debuted their relationship in September, he saw her 13 more times. He even made a cameo on stage in London in July 2024.
His family also showed Swift some love as they were spotted in the crowd multiple times.
Despite his absence, Swift proved Travis was in his mind during Sunday’s concert when she paid tribute to him by calling out the “guy in the Chiefs” during “Karma.”
Travis also honored her during Sunday’s game when he decorated his locker with Christmas decor featuring her face as Mrs. Clause.
